Grocery Chain Selects PowerSeries Neo as Intrusion System
WESTFORD, MA
Used in conjunction with Alarm.com’s interactive solution, store management remotely monitors and manages security for its three stores WESTFORD, MA. November 21, 2016 –– Tyco Security Products announced that Thrifty King, a three-store grocery chain with operations in Kansas and Colorado, has chosen the DSC PowerSeries Neo intrusion system in conjunction with Alarm.com’s user-friendly interactive monitoring solution as its security system. The PowerSeries Neo solution offers Thrifty King a customized system of alarm monitoring and information gathering that is configured to fit the needs and layout of each store—one of which is a newer location and the other two recent remodels. Using Alarm.com’s remote access capabilities, Store Owner Justin Crawford can monitor activities in both the supermarkets and separate, adjacent liquor stores, by accessing information from the sensors and motion detectors. He can also easily arm or disarm doors, without being on site. “The system provides great peace of mind,” said Crawford, “because I know that everything is set the way I want it to be and I can check in on things whenever I want to.” Offering adaptive transmission path capabilities, PowerSeries Neo advanced PowerG wireless technology adjusts to the changing nature of the Thrifty King’s retail environments, automatically detecting and adjusting its signal strength if, for instance, a display is put in the path of a sensor. Thrifty King is also taking advantage of PowerSeries Neo’s partitioning feature, which allowed the integrator to cost-effectively create dual systems on the same panel for those units with separate liquor stores.
