Privacy Policy PowerSeries Neo Go:
Last Updated: [1/6/2015]
We recognize the importance of protecting privacy rights and we have created this Privacy Policy to explain our data protection practices related to your use of the software application PowerSeries Neo Go (“Application”) for mobile devices. The Application allows you to connect directly with your PowerSeries Neo Security System.
What information do we collect?
The Application does not collect, record or store data like name or email address and does not collect or store IP Addresses. This Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.
To use the Application to directly connect with the security system in your home, the user is required to provide the unique ID of the panel in your home as well as your access code for the security system in your home. For this purpose, this information is saved locally in the Application only and is not saved on the server. The Application uses this information solely to allow the functionality of the Application (e.g., to allow your mobile device to communicate with the security system in your home). This information is not used for any other purposes than as stated herein.
If you choose to receive notifications when there is a status change on your security systems, the App will save your unique mobile ID and unique panel ID on a server so that the notifications from your security system are routed and delivered to your phone. The notifications will be saved on the server for up to 3 days so that you can review your security system notification at your convenience.
Please ensure that you save securely and do not share your Panel ID and Access code with others in order to prevent others from accessing your security systems. The panel ID itself does not indicate the address where the security system is installed.
Access to the Data
We do not share your information with third parties. We may disclose information only as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, to investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; or with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf and who do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them (e.g., third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, or IT companies).
Our Contact Information
Please contact us with any questions or comments about this Policy, your personal information, our use and disclosure practices, or your consent choices by email at customersupport@dsc.com.
